Renowned for her stuffy, old world attitude, the wife of former French president Jacques Chirac gets the comedic treatment in "Bernadette", starring Catherine Deneuve as the eponymous first lady. The film is said to be based on real events during the Chiracs’ tenure at the Élysée between 1995 and 2007.
Sci-fi thriller “Mars Express” offers an uncommon spin on modern anxieties — particularly when it comes to AI. French director Jérémie Périn’s excellent first feature film which was unveiled in the Cannes Film Festival’s Cinéma de la Plage line-up.
