"François Truffaut, My Life, a Screenplay" Post-Screening Q&A Session With David Teboul

David Teboul is a filmmaker and screenwriter in France. His films include Yves Saint Laurent: His Life And Times (2002), La Vie Ailleurs (2008), Bardot, La Meprise (2014) - A Documentary On Brigitte Bardot And François Truffaut, My Life, A Screenplay (2024).

In this documentary, David Teboul enriched with previously unseen documents, reveals part of the ultimate story of François Truffaut. Discover the life of one of the most beloved French directors of the 20th century. The Festival has long paid tribute to Truffaut’s works during his quite short life and since he passed away, followed by a large number of Hong Kong cine lovers. Several books have been published in HK, highlighting the appreciation of his legacy. As a cinema lover himself, Truffaut embodied this 7th Art he was passionate about, with masterpieces like his book of interviews of Alfred Hitchcock.

The sessions will be an opportunity to discuss David Teboul's experience as a director.
