"Block Pass" Post-Screening Q&A Sessions With Antoine Chevrollier

Antoine Chevrollier is a French filmmaker known for directing the series The Bureau and Le Baron Noir. Antoine Chevrollier's first feature film, shot in his native village of Longué-Jumelles, is authentic and touching, questioning toxic masculinity, difficult family relationships, cyber-bullying and lack of tolerance. Willy is upset about his father's death and spends time with his friends at La Pampa, a motocross course where his best friend Jojo is training for the French championship. Both of them have dreams of a better life, but everything collapses around them. The film was selected for the Critics' Week program at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. The film will be screened at the Hong Kong French Film Festival.
