After years in exile, pianist Mathias Vogler returns to France at the request of Elena, his childhood mentor, to perform a concert series in Lyon. However,  his homecoming takes a surreal turn when he encounters a child who looks the same as him. Haunted by this mysterious double, Mathias spirals into obsession, drawing him back to Claude—his first love—and into a past he thought he'd left behind.
