Aspiring filmmakers pass through the imposing gates of La Femis, the prestigious film school for the first – and perhaps the last – time. Each one dreams of cinema, but also of success. All hopes are permitted, as are all anxieties. The young people dream and doubt. The jury members ponder and seek out their successors. From the candidates’ arrival to the jury’s deliberations, the film explores the clash between two generations and the gruelling selection process organised by our contemporary societies.
